Kinnaur is one of twelve administrative districts in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The district is divided into three administrative areas – Pooh, Kalpa, and Nichar– and has six tehsils. The administrative headquarters of Kinnaur district is at Reckong Peo.

 

The district of Lahaul-Spiti in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh consists of the two formerly separate districts of Lahaul and Spiti. The present administrative centre is Keylong in Lahaul. Before the two districts were merged, Kardang was the capital of Lahaul, and Dhankar the capital of Spiti.

 

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla by cab CAB (375 KMS - 08-09 HRS)

Day 2 : -Shimla – Rampur – Sarahan – Sanglab (170 kms 6 hrs Drive)

Night Stay : Sangla After breakfast Drive towards Sangla.Travel by road from Shimla to Sarahan, the gateway to Kinnaur en route crossing the famous hill resorts of Kufri & Narkanda. Enroute also visit Rampur and view Padam Palace. Continue to drive along the Satluj river and from Jeori climb up to Sarahan.after that drive towards Sangla. On arrival check in at hotel. Day 3 : Sangla - Raksham - Chitkul - Sangla (15kms 1 hrs Drive)

Day 4 : Sangla to Kalpa (40 kms 2 hrs Drive)

Night Stay : Kalpa After breakfast Drive towards Kalpa one the way visiting kamru village and forts. It is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Roghi village which has traditionally built Kinnauri houses. Evening free to walk around the Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Kalpa to Tabo (150 kms 4-5 hrs)
